Leah Foundation
Leah Sharibu, a bright teenager, was kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists on 19 February 2018 along with 110 other schoolgirls from Dapchi. She is the only hostage remaining in captivity simply because she refused to renounce her Christian faith. The LEAH Foundation was established to bring freedom and empowerment to Leah and girls like her who fear Boko Haram and doing everyday things like attending school. In the past ten months, the LEAH Foundation has helped 12 girls relocate to a safer location so they can continue their studies. The money raised will help educate and empower 12 girls to be examples to others.
